Board approves payables, minutes, holiday and meeting schedules

The board approved routine administrative items at its Dec. 5 meeting, including monthly payables, prior meeting minutes, and schedule items.
President Richard Samples presented payables totaling $130,419.55; Trustee J.W. Coleman moved approval and Trustee Steve Retzer seconded. The Treasurer's reports for June and July 2024 were presented and approved following a motion by Trustee Paula Belobrajdic-Stewart and a second by Trustee Tom Jordan. The Nov. 7 minutes were approved after a motion by Trustee Tom Luber and a second by Trustee Steve Retzer. All routine approvals passed by roll-call votes.
Trustee Steve Retzer identified errors in the draft 2025 meeting schedule (May 7 is a Wednesday); the schedule was corrected to list Jan. 9, May 1 and July 10, 2025 and then approved. The board also approved the 2025 holiday schedule; Clerk Olson said the only change is closing on Christmas Eve and keeping New Year's Eve as a workday.
