Trustees approved a $17,900 bid from Rawlings Excavating to demolish a house and two outbuildings at 901 Coronado, with the garage left intact for conversion into a pavilion.
President Richard Samples said the contract covers the house and two outbuildings and that Littleton Storm & Timber Services had bid $21,200 on the same work. "The bid includes the house and two outbuildings. The garage will remain and be made into a pavilion," Samples said. Trustee Steve Retzer moved to accept Rawlings Excavating's bid; Trustee Tom Jordan seconded and the board approved the award by roll call.
Samples said he will look for organizations to partner with the village on building the park at the site. The approved contract amount in the meeting record is $17,900.
