Somonauk board approves consent items and closed‑session minutes

The motion was made by Norm Johnson, seconded by Erik Wold, and passed with six yeas and one absent board member (Corey Britt).
Separately, the board approved the closed‑session minutes of the Aug. 19, 2025 regular meeting after a semi‑annual review under the Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(21)). That motion was made by Norm Johnson, seconded by Kurt Hohenberger, and recorded with the same tally: six yeas, one absent.
