Trustees voted to renew the village's lease with the town of Green Island for 2026 and separately renewed the lease with the Green Island Power Authority. The mayor told the board both leases are "exactly the same as it was" for the coming year and that no rent increase was proposed.
The board also approved renewal of a municipal service agreement with the Green Island senior citizens organization. The mayor described that agreement as longer because it includes payments the village makes to support senior services and praised Jill and her team for the work they perform at the senior center.
