Committee recommends PUD amendment for Lodge Kohler wall sign in Titletown District

The Site Plan Review Committee voted to recommend a Planned Unit Development amendment to allow a 0.25 wall sign on the west elevation of Lodge Kohler, 1950 South Ridge Road, in the Titletown District.
Aaron, a village staff member, showed elevations and said wall signs already exist on the east, south and north elevations; the requested sign would be similar to the existing signs and would face west toward the Titletown District. “Because this is part of a planned unit development, it does require a formal, PUD amendment, for the request,” Aaron said, noting the committee’s role is to recommend and that final action will be taken by the Plan Commission and Village Board.
A committee member moved to recommend approval; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. Aaron told the committee the recommendation will be forwarded to the Plan Commission on Thursday and then to the Village Board at the end of the month for final action.
