The Village Board voted on Dec. 15, 2025 to authorize review of Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) contract options with legal counsel, approve entering into a contract with CFACC, and to extend the existing CFACC contract through Jan. 31, 2026 until a new contract is executed. The motion to review options and extend the contract was made by Trustee Greenwood and seconded by Trustee Lehmann; the motion carried on a voice vote.
The extension preserves continuity of DMO services while staff and counsel finalize a new agreement. Trustees did not record additional contract terms in the minutes; the board instructed staff to pursue legal review and to return with a finalized contract for execution.
