Lake Hallie board approves three land-use permits and a rezone after brief hearings

The Village of Lake Hallie Village Board accepted Conditional Use Permit 2025-0006 for Adam & Grace Westaby, Conditional Use Permit 2025-0007 for Lee Markquart Enterprises LLC (an RV dealer), and approved Zoning Map Updates 2025-0013 after brief public hearings held between 7:14 p.m. and 7:26 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2025. Trustee Lehmann moved to accept the first permit with Trustee Greenwood seconding; Trustee Hudson moved on the second permit with Trustee Lehmann seconding; and Trustee Lehmann moved to accept the rezone with Trustee Calkins seconding. All actions were approved by voice vote.
The board also reviewed a proposed certified survey map (CSM) for Valley Sports Academy (VSA) as information only; no formal action was taken on the VSA CSM during the meeting. The decisions on the three permits and the rezone clear the way for each applicant to proceed under the village’s zoning approvals, subject to any outstanding conditions in staff files or permit documents.
