The board voted to remove Rodney McCormick from the Alcoholic Beverage Commission and directed staff to send the prepared notice to the state.
DiMartino said he had consulted relevant legal guidance and the board heard that Attorney Shaw Friedman’s office and State Representative Jim Pressel’s office indicated the county is within its rights under the new statute. The board took the vote without recorded dissent, 2-0.
