The Village of South Chicago Heights Committee of the Whole met at Village Hall, 3317 Chicago Road, on Feb. 2, 2026. Mayor Terry Matthews called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m., and Village Clerk Catherine Linan called the roll; several trustees, village staff and department heads were present and one (Azbill) was absent.
After a brief presentation by Police Chief Clint Wagner about the department's interview-room camera system and the board's agreement to bring the purchase forward at the next regular meeting, Trustee Eric Stanton moved to adjourn and Trustee Tracy Bosco seconded. The motion passed on a voice vote — "all ayes, no nays" — and the meeting ended at 7:52 p.m. The minutes show no public comments were offered during the Committee of the Whole meeting.
