Avon board adopts safety, technology and special-education plans for 2024-25

By motion of Jim Colt and seconded by Karen Vanderbilt, the Avon board approved a package of district-level plans for 2024-25 covering School Safety and Emergency Preparedness, District Disaster Recovery, Technology Incident Response, MTSS (Academic Intervention Services), APPR, counseling and trauma plans (TIG), Universal Pre-K, the Special Education Plan, and related policies.
Board members carried the approvals 5-0. The set of plans is intended to align safety, instructional interventions and technology response protocols across all schools in the district for the 2024-25 school year.
