The McFarland City Council meeting included a short presentation from McFarland Animal Shelter staff introducing Belle as the council’s featured pet of the week. Shelter staff described Belle as “a 1 year and 5 month old female pet bull who is playful, loving, and full of personality and energy” and said she is vaccinated and ready for adoption.
Shelter staff also told the council that “all adoption fees will be waived if she is adopted today” and encouraged residents to visit the shelter on Melcher Road to meet her. The presentation was part of a routine item meant to highlight animals available for adoption; no council action was required.
