Matt Hosler: from OSBA internships to Berkshire treasurer

On the StodCast Hosler said those experiences helped him learn both policy and practical budget work: "I interned with OSBA... seeing different sides of public education, the policy side and the advocating side as well." He also credited hands-on mentorship from longtime treasurer Beth McCaffrey for technical training in forecasting and tax budgets.
The interview included informal touches: Hosler said he taught himself to play banjo, enjoys fishing on the Grand River and Lake Erie, and recently traveled to Bali and Thailand. He told listeners he hopes, in five years, people will say he made a positive impact on the district and community.
