Staff highlighted a broad slate of activities that have proved popular: a visiting producer from Beacon Falls, a DJ, circus performers, a magician, an ice-cream truck, Color Wars, laser tag and a fishing day. "So we have a 114 registered campers, averaging probably about 70 campers a week," the staff member said. Members praised high participation and noted that while not every child participates in every activity, the majority engaged and enjoyed the special events.
The update also flagged operational constraints: weather has frequently limited outdoor water activities, and S1 said the school would not permit use of its water slide this year. Staffing remains a planning consideration as some staff are returning to teaching duties; S1 said the program will cap attendance where necessary "because most of our staff is going back to school." The group agreed to continue monitoring registrations and staffing availability and to circulate the June minutes and agenda items ahead of the end-of‑August meeting for further planning.
