Capital projects staff said completed items included 2,850 Chromebooks and a 1,500‑square‑foot athletic storage building; projects underway include the Waccamaw High School Fieldhouse (construction documents complete), district furniture refresh Year 1, and pending IT core switch and firewall installations. Staff said the district expects an intent to award the architect solicitation on August 4 and to post the award on August 14, and is preparing to negotiate a construction management at‑risk agreement to advance major construction work.
