Board approves retirements, resignations and new contracts for 2026–27 school year
Summary
The board accepted the retirement of a 20-year aide, approved multiple staff resignations, and approved new and supplemental contracts including a cafeteria cook contract and coaching assignments for the coming school year.
The board approved personnel actions including the acceptance of Jennifer Bombach’s retirement (aid) effective July 1, 2026 after 20 years of service, and approved resignations from several elementary staff members with effective dates at the end of summer 2026.
Superintendent presented and the board approved a contract for Tiffany Rizik as KA cafeteria cook, step 1, for the 2026–27 school year. The board also issued substitute contracts contingent on Ohio and district eligibility and approved supplemental coaching and advisor contracts for spring 2025–26 and 2026–27, naming staff such as Steven Neuhaus (spring weight-room advisor), Dawn Freeland (assistant high-school track coach) and Skyler Scalise (head volleyball coach).
Board members offered thanks and good wishes to departing employees and noted the district will recruit to fill open administrative and instructional roles over the coming months.
