Elementary celebrates attendance milestone; community group pledges snacks for testing

The elementary principal reported that every grade level exceeded an 80% weekly attendance target and reached a minimum of 90%, and that the school celebrated with lighthearted incentives. "Every grade level ended up exceeding the recent weekly attendance school of 80% and reached a minimum of 90%," the principal said, describing duct-tape-to-the-wall and 'pancakes with the principal' incentives.
The principal also outlined upcoming Ohio State testing for grades 3–6 and noted the Waterloo Community Helping Hands organization will donate snacks for testing days. The PTO is hosting a "night under the stars" event on April 25 and is finishing the elementary yearbook; sign-ups and volunteer support were highlighted by staff.
