Owls said the district provides Chromebooks to classrooms as part of its 1:1 device program and described recent infrastructure investments: roughly 40 network switches, about 70 wireless access points, fiber backbone improvements and consolidation of multiple disparate camera systems into a single platform. He also listed cybersecurity protections in place, including phishing filters, off-site backups, network penetration testing and endpoint detection, intended to protect student and staff data.
Owls read multiple testimonials praising the district's repair technician Joe for day-to-day support and quick turnaround on repairs. The director said the district used E-Rate discounts to fund wireless upgrades and that high-resolution images were captured before any mural repainting as a preservation practice. Board members thanked the IT staff and noted the role of technology in classroom continuity.
