President Barbara Ryan opened a public hearing on the California School Employees Association (CSEA), Santee Chapter 557, initial proposal to modify the collective bargaining agreement. The proposal submitted for 2024‑2025 included Article 18 – Leave Provisions; Article 19 – Compensation; and Article 20 – Health and Welfare Benefits. With no requests to speak, the hearing was closed.
The hearing was informational; the Board did not take action during the public hearing and will continue negotiations through the district's labor‑relations process. The presentation of the proposal was made by Assistant Superintendent David MacLeod earlier in the agenda.
