He said volunteers from Onekama schools helped at a recent work bee and that organizers will address outstanding maintenance needs.
Schimke said the board plans to repair a fence near the fairgrounds and provided a cost estimate: "They will be repairing the fence with a cost of approximately $1,200." Board members noted volunteer support and painting needs for the grandstand but did not take a formal vote on additional repairs at this meeting. The board adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
