Jade Wolf named Western New York Poetry Out Loud winner, advancing to state finals

At the Feb. 13 meeting, Principal P. Hazard reported that students Jade Wolf and Adam Piper advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Poetry Out Loud competition held Feb. 12 at Buffalo State University. Jade Wolf was announced as the Western New York overall winner and will advance to the New York State finals on March 15 at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
The board recognized the achievement as part of routine principal reports and noted the district's performing arts calendar, including the musical Honk scheduled in three weeks and other upcoming performances.
