The Camden Central School District Board heard a presentation on the proposed capital project at a public forum held at 5:00 p.m. on Nov. 10. Superintendent Mr. Evangelist and Assistant Superintendent for Business Mrs. Jones presented project details to attendees; no community questions or comments were offered during the forum.
Board President Mrs. Swancott and the Facilities Committee have been engaged in a series of meetings about the proposal. Committee materials were reviewed at a Nov. 5 facilities meeting and the Board was told the capital project will come before the Board for a vote on Dec. 9. The district acknowledged architects and community volunteers for their work advancing the proposal. The Board took no formal action on the project at the Nov. 10 meeting.
