President Dustin Burns opened a public hearing on the Santee Teachers Association’s initial proposal to modify Article XII (Leave Provisions) and Article XVI (Employee Benefits) of the collective bargaining agreement. "With no requests to speak, the hearing was closed," the record states.
The meeting proceeded to routine business and the board approved the consent agenda, which included approval of minutes; acceptance of donations, grants and bequests; ratification of general services agreements; approval of expenditure transactions charged to district purchasing cards; approval of mileage reimbursement agreements in lieu of district transportation; the Annual and Five-Year Developer Fee Report; authorization to issue an RFP for a K–8 switch infrastructure upgrade; and authorization to contract through the CUPCCAA informal bid process. Member Dianne El-Hajj moved approval of the consent items and the board approved the consent agenda by a 5-0 vote.
No public commenters addressed either the public hearing item or the consent items during the meeting.
