At the Jan. 13 meeting the board reviewed five money requests from local and regional nonprofits: Seniors Plus, the Red Cross, the Cancer Resource Center, Community Concepts and the Hope Association. Selectman Timothy Derouche moved to send all five requests to the budget committee for consideration; the motion was seconded by Matthew Patnaude and passed 3-0.
The board also reviewed foreclosure notices and recorded that any previously noted foreclosures had been paid and the town did not acquire additional properties. The town's budget meeting is scheduled for Jan. 14 at 1:00 p.m., when the budget committee will take up these requests and other budget items.
