The Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Commission approved Resolution 26-14 to set salaries for fiscal year 2026โ27 after a staff explanation of implementation timing.
CEO Bill Everett told commissioners the county typically makes general employee raises effective earlier in the process because union employee increases are governed by collective bargaining agreements and include more benefits. "The Union employee's salary increases are set by contract," Everett said, adding the county has followed this practice annually. The resolution passed 5-0 with no public comment.
