Tilton approves $43,700 task order for construction inspection

Village engineer Mark told the board that the village submitted Task Order 9 to provide construction inspection and construction administration for recent infrastructure work and requested authorization for an hourly contract not to exceed $43,700. "It's 43,700," Mark said when asked about the maximum amount and clarified the water-main inspection will be done by the water company.
Chair (speaker 2) called for a motion and trustees approved the not-to-exceed amount after a roll-call confirmation. Mark said the work is largely in progress and the hourly structure makes it unlikely the village will spend the full maximum because the project is moving quickly.
