Tilton board trims agenda, approves minutes and routine finance items
Summary
At its Jan. 13 meeting the Tilton Village Board removed two items from the agenda, approved minutes and routine finance reports, and referred several items for later committee review.
The Tilton Village Board began its Jan. 13 meeting by amending the agenda to remove two items that lacked updated information and appeared duplicative. A motion to pull item 28 for further information carried unanimously, and a separate motion removed item 23 (a BJ Trucking & Excavating line item) after a trustee said "we're paying ECI and ECI is paying the BJ" and the board agreed it would be unfair to pay both.
The board then approved the minutes from the Dec. 11, 2025 meeting and the Dec. 17 special meeting, accepted the finance report and authorized payment of bills. The Survey Committee (Mike, Bob and John) also approved its Dec. 16, 2025 minutes. Chair (speaker 2) called for motions and roll-call approvals for each item; trustees voted in the affirmative on the routine actions. The meeting moved on to department reports and a series of staff presentations.
