Miss Houston, the district finance presenter, told the board the district received more than $2,000,000 in SPLOST receipts for June and that the figure represented a 12.5% increase over the prior year.
"This is really sales for June. So we were over $2,000,000 — not a record, but still SPLOST coming in to help us with our buses and our facilities and technology," Miss Houston said. She reported the district's unassigned general fund balance at July 31 as $68,800,000 and total fund balance as $95,900,000, and presented year‑to‑date revenues and month spending figures.
Houston also reviewed general fund detail and said the district did not present other funds due to accrual timing; she reported total invoices for the month were presented to the board for review. Board members asked no follow‑up questions and the report was accepted for the record.
