Board approves faculty seniority list, dismissal sequence and a stadium mowing contract

At its Jan. 20 meeting the Stark County CUSD 100 Board of Education completed annual governance items tied to personnel and facilities. The board approved the faculty seniority list required for potential reduction-in-force procedures and accepted the Sequence of Honorable Dismissal list; both documents were confirmed by the teacher association. Emily Leezer moved to accept the seniority list; the motion passed 6–0.
The board also approved a contract with M and M Lawn Service to mow the football stadium property from April through November 2026. President Ann Orwig made the motion; Leezer seconded and the board approved the contract 6–0.
Board members discussed continuing second-semester building visits and Roundtable events scheduled by principals.
