Board approves multiple staff appointments, accepts resignation, and OKs volunteer coaches

In open session following executive session the board approved several personnel actions by unanimous vote. Motions included approving Alexa Germosen as Junior Class Sponsor, Betsy Dunehew as High School Yearbook Sponsor, Nathanael Hernandez as a long-term substitute for Spanish and ESL (pending paperwork), Jeff Appenheimer as a van driver, Rick Schertz as Junior High/High School AM Supervisor, Jackie Carroll as Freshman Class Sponsor, Jason Clark as Junior High/High School Lunch Supervisor, Charity Turnbull as a BIST Aide Consultant at the Junior High/High School, and Diana Gilles as a part-time SCES RTI Specialist. The board accepted the resignation of Cole Hartley as High School Yearbook Sponsor and approved a slate of volunteer fall coaches (James Owens, Joe Charvat, Michael Schott, Tim/TJ Giesenhagen, Jordan Walton (student volunteer), Bruce West, Lauren West, and Rob Finney). All motions passed 5-0.
Board members used standard motion/second procedures; votes were recorded as unanimous. Personnel actions were presented after executive session and most approvals were contingent on completion of required paperwork where noted.
