Stark County CUSD 100 honors teacher and summer BIST leadership team

The board presented Pride & Excellence awards to teacher Dusty Browning and the SCES Summer BIST Leadership Team (Mary Jo Groter, Andrea Terwilliger, Sarah DeBord) for curriculum work and community contributions.
President Ann Orwig presented a Pride & Excellence award to high school teacher Dusty Browning, praising his commitment to the district's extracurricular and instructional work. Orwig said Mr. Browning "is the kind of guy who can take our breath away with his commitment to our school" and called him "a Maverick who always goes above and beyond." Principal Megan McGann added that Browning helps with many tasks beyond his assigned duties.
The board also recognized the SCES Summer BIST Leadership Team'Mary Jo Groter, Andrea Terwilliger, and Sarah DeBord'for rewriting the BIST First 10 Days lessons into grade-level bands and creating resources for staff. Principal Emily Mastin thanked the teachers and noted their work strengthens schoolwide expectations and supports new and returning staff.
