At the June 19 special meeting, Superintendent Brett Elliott outlined transportation-related budget changes included in the district's Amended Budget for FY2025. The district recorded a $50,000 increase in Fund 40 revenues tied to a Bus to Grid Grant and increased Fund 40 expenditures by $127,745 to reflect related outlay and operating changes.
Elliott identified the expenditure increases as covering the Bus to Grid outlay, added special-education bus route salary and insurance benefits, capital outlay for a vehicle balance and a garage door opener, and costs associated with bus lease returns. The changes will be handled through the Business Office and Transportation departments following board approval.
