President Ann Orwig presented a Pride & Excellence recognition to volunteer Tim Colgan for years of groundskeeping and storm cleanup at Stark County Elementary School. The board thanked him for "taking great pride in his volunteer work," and noted frequent communication with Superintendent Elliott about grounds needs.
Orwig also congratulated Stark County High School boys and girls who qualified for the 2025 IHSA state finals. The minutes list student performances and school records, including Evan Knobloch (800M, 2:03.89; 1600M, 4:34.05; 3200M, 9:54.71), Dusti Smith (1600M 5:04.29, 3200M 11:38.61), Cheyenh Smith (800M 2:16.97, placed 7th), Lauren Orwig (discus 38.59M), and Chelsey Stotler (2025 shot put state champion, 13.22M). Coaches Clint Terwilliger and Bob Rennick praised the athletes' dedication.
