Treasurer business included a report on grants and a motion to accept K–12 connectivity funds. Treasurer said the district had been awarded about $3,000 under a connectivity fund that can be applied toward internet services, technology or reimbursed for prior purchases. The board approved applying the award as eligible.
The meeting also included a review of the Maplewood partnership: the treasurer reported Maplewood has 10 participating schools, enrollment 1,766 and multiple 5‑star ratings; a five‑year forecast projected about $17,000,000 in reserves after a planned $15,000,000 transfer. "We've gotten into a couple of clients... we were awarded $3,000," the Treasurer said when explaining the connectivity award and eligible uses.
Board members noted the healthy long‑term forecast and discussed attending Maplewood board meetings for representation.
