The Governing Board approved the appointment of Stephanie Adams to the district’s Legal Counsel position and ratified routine personnel actions during its July 15 meeting.
Board President Tiffany Stoker Madsen announced the appointment when the meeting reconvened from closed session at 6:58 p.m. A motion to approve the appointment passed unanimously among members present. The Board also approved routine personnel matters as presented by staff. During closed session the Board voted unanimously to dismiss a classified employee who failed to timely demand a hearing after being served charges and thus waived that right, according to the minutes.
The Superintendent and Human Resources staff provided standard personnel reports and documentation supporting the actions; the Board's motions on appointments and personnel were recorded in the official minutes.
