Skokie SD 69 board unanimously approves consent agenda including $499,408.96 in bills, personnel actions and an MOU on student records

The Skokie School District 69 (Skokie SD 69) Board, on a motion by Ms. Lindley Wisnewski (seconded by Mr. Dan Freeman), approved the consent agenda by roll call vote. The recorded roll-call vote was unanimous with all present board members voting aye.
Consent items included payment of bills dated Sept. 30, 2024 in the amount of $499,408.96; approval of listed personnel moves (new hires including Frishta Halimi, After-School Program Leader at Edison effective Sept. 16, 2024; Hailey Kipp, School Nurse at Madison effective Sept. 25, 2024; Gina Picariello, Community Schools Manager at Lincoln effective Oct. 10, 2024; and others); accepted resignations and terminations as listed in the meeting materials; and approved a leave of absence for Rosa Castro (Teacher Special Ed/COT-R at Madison) effective Dec. 18, 2024 through Apr. 4, 2025.
The Board also approved a memorandum of understanding and 10-year intergovernmental agreement clarifying the transfer of student records between District 69 and Niles Township High School District 219 following District 69’s migration to its own Infinite Campus student-information system. Multiple policy items listed as first reads and as second and final reads were approved as noted on the consent agenda.
