Board names four official depositories for district K–12 funds

The Detroit Lakes Public Schools board approved a motion to designate the following institutions as official depositories for K–12 funds: "Old National Bank, Midwest Bank, Minnesota Liquid Asset Fund, and Ehlers/Pershing." The motion to designate the depositories was made by Mary Rotter and seconded by Michelle Okeson and carried unanimously.
Board members also named Sanford Nelson and Michael Walther to serve as Directors for the 2026 School Board Calendar Year. The depository designations are administrative steps to ensure banking arrangements for district funds and were included on the organizational meeting agenda.
