Board approves EEOC settlement and authorizes signing of bus damage release after executive session

The chair and the county attorney emphasized that deliberations about pending litigation occurred in executive session and that no votes were taken there; all formal motions and votes were taken in open session.
"The EEOC complaint that's been filed... we had a mediation, and I asked that that agreement be approved," a trustee said before the board voted to accept the settlement. Both actions were recorded as approved, 7–0.
