Cambridge-Isanti board elects Heidi Sprandel chair, DeEtta Moos vice chair

Heidi Sprandel was elected board chair by acclamation at the Cambridge-Isanti Schools organizational meeting on Jan. 5, 2026. Mark Solberg nominated Sprandel for chair and, after no further nominations, "Heidi Sprandel was elected by acclamation." The board convened at 5:30 p.m. and confirmed an attendance roll that listed Director Becky Roby as absent.
DeEtta Moos was elected vice chair by acclamation after Nikki Johnson nominated her, Mark Solberg was elected clerk after a nomination from Moos, and Nikki Johnson was elected treasurer following a nomination by Solberg. Each election was taken by acclamation with no recorded opposition. Chair Sprandel asked members to communicate committee preferences to assist with assignments for the coming year.
