Green Island board approves minutes, reports, claims and routine items; declares police vehicle surplus

The board completed routine agenda business including approval of the Nov. 17 minutes and acceptance of the police activity and fire department reports.
Trustee (speaker 5) moved and the board carried motions to approve minutes and accept reports after motions, seconds and voice votes. The board also voted to pay claims and accept the treasurer’s monthly report. Chair (speaker 2) praised the DPW for recent work during snowstorms and festival preparations, saying they “did a wonderful job.”
Other administrative actions included approval of a water and sewer billing adjustment, acceptance of the Parking Violations Bureau submission, and a motion declaring the police department’s 2021 Dodge Durango surplus so it can be removed from the fleet. All routine items were approved by voice votes with no recorded opposition.
