County events, new stage and sewer easement discussed during work session

"We've got the screen...we installed the new trees from the Good Roots grant...we received all the supplies we need to start doing the underground service," the events coordinator said, describing equipment and scheduled activities. Staff also noted the need to secure a utility easement to proceed with sewer installation for planned RV sites and that more information will follow as property access and easements are negotiated.
Separately, staff reported that the sheriff's mobile command center inspection timeline shifted and that flooring repairs for the Asheville sheriff's office are being quoted. Staff said Meridian West will deploy a new routing system for refuse collection on May 4 and that residents will receive postcard notices about schedule changes.
