County staff noted there may be donated equipment available from other local agencies, but also cautioned about maintenance needs and long-term upkeep of large diesel generators.
Commissioners said they will place the request on the Tuesday agenda for a formal vote or budget amendment and work with the city to confirm exact costs and procurement details.
