Alvarado ISD recognizes educators; superintendent thanks staff for busy spring season

At the start of the April 13 meeting, Chief Communications Officer Tommy Brown presented educator recognitions for Ms. Nellie Heredia of LES and Ms. Shanna Peteet of DAEP. The board also observed the Pledge of Allegiance led by State Powerlifting students Kinsley Henderson and Kanyon Barlow.
In Superintendent comments, Dr. Kenneth Estes praised campus administration and educators for handling a busy season including playoffs, awards, ceremonies and state testing, offering "appreciation to all the educators that have helped in the heavy lifting with these events and thanked them for all they do." The remarks were delivered as part of routine superintendent commentary and were noted in the meeting minutes.
