Stafford also described family engagement efforts such as a family book study of the 7 Habits curriculum and student-led parent-teacher conferences in fall and spring. The presentation emphasized flexibility for campuses to adapt strategies while remaining aligned with district objectives.
Board members and staff discussed monitoring, translations for non-English families, and supports for teachers; staff said they would track implementation and use formative reviews to make adjustments.
