Superintendent Dr. Rachel Valenzuela told trustees that current 2025–26 transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten enrollment stands at six TK classes and seven kindergarten classes; she said enrollment remains open and staff will provide monthly updates.
Dr. Valenzuela also reported she circulated a draft 2025–26 instructional calendar to employee groups (CSEA and MARFAC) and requested comments by Feb. 14, 2025. Director Lisa Warne presented the first draft of an Early Warning System intended to identify students in need of additional supports; staff will continue developing EWS implementation details.
