The Mark West Union School District Board of Trustees voted to adopt Board Policy and Administrative Regulation 5145.3 (Students Nondiscrimination/Harassment) and 5145.7 (Students Sexual Harassment) during its Feb. 11, 2025 regular meeting.
The two policies were approved on a combined motion with a second from Trustee Aaron Smith; the action carried Aye=4, Nay=0, Abstention=0, Absent=1. The policies revise district guidance on student nondiscrimination and sexual-harassment response and will be reflected in administrative documents and staff training.
