Village staff told council that the Maintenance Barn had been completed — including power washing, rust inhibitor, painting, and roof repair — and that the Street Department has been repairing potholes around town. Fed Excavating completed replacement of catch basins, and the Water Department installed additional cameras and motion-sensor lights around the bulk water station.
Staff reported that Well 6 required a new pump because iron buildup on the screen caused the previous pump to fail. "The cost was $7,500 to replace it, which has been done, and the well is back online," the minutes state. These repairs were presented as routine operations to maintain service and safety; council did not record a separate vote on the maintenance items.
