Jim Hough of Wade Insurance Agency presented the committee with the proposed employee insurance package for 2025 and recommended keeping the current plans.
The committee accepted the recommendation. Hough told members there would be no change to vision or dental coverage, and no change to dependent life or accidental death and disability. He said basic life insurance will increase by $34 "due to the change of demographics of employees" and the administration fee will rise to $18.36. The committee set a March review for medical coverage and noted that employees will update Formfire information beginning in January 2025.
