Board approves 4‑H extracurricular resolution, Temple ISD agreement and Zayo phone-extension; Impact Counseling MOU pending

Superintendent Darla Nolen presented and trustees approved (vote 7–0) the Bell County 4‑H adjunct faculty agreement and a resolution to grant 4‑H extracurricular status for student absences when participating in 4‑H activities. The board also approved the SY 2026–2027 shared services agreement with Temple ISD's Regional Day School Program for the Deaf, ensuring continuation of services for students needing those programs. In addition, trustees approved a customer extension agreement for phone services with Zayo Education, LLC (formerly ENA Services, LLC) for the coming year.
The board did not act on a proposed memorandum of understanding with Impact Counseling because the contract had not been received; that item was tabled pending receipt of the agreement for consideration at a future meeting.
