Ritchie Thornton, director of curriculum and instruction, said year-three Teacher Incentive Allotment data were completed this summer and designations will come this fall. Thornton reported "strong growth," noting 15 teachers designated in year one, 25 in year two, and five who advanced to higher levels. Technology Director Victoria Yates said the district rolled out over 800 Chromebooks, completed rostering across platforms, and the district website (launched July 1) has logged more than 75,000 hits.
Principals reported curriculum and scheduling adjustments across campuses: the middle school shifted health and speech assignments and paired art with Tech Apps for sixth grade; the elementary campus implemented house colors for Pre‑K through 5th grade to foster collaboration; the high school restored art instruction, reinstated student parking assignments, and scheduled college representative visits. Athletic Director Justin Wiley reported cross‑country and volleyball seasons are underway and a second football scrimmage is scheduled in Clarendon.
