At its April 22 meeting the Del Mar Union School District Board approved the consent calendar (Items 6.1–6.19) in a single motion. The motion, made by Board Member Bill Porter and seconded by Katherine Fitzpatrick, carried unanimously. Items approved included the UCP quarterly report, ratification of district agreements and amendments, purchase orders and warrants, acceptance of donations, and actions to declare obsolete and surplus property under Education Code sections 17540 and 17546.
Several procurement actions were recorded: adoption of Resolution No. 2026‑05 to use Omnia Partners Contract 07‑103 to purchase furniture for Sage Canyon, Carmel Del Mar, and Torrey Hills schools; firm selection for Carmel Del Mar modernization laboratory of record and special inspection services; awards for child nutrition services and multiple facilities contracts (carpet, painting); and rejection of bids for districtwide trash, recycling and organic waste services. The minutes show the consent motion carried with Ayes from Doug Rafner, Katherine Fitzpatrick, Gee Wah Mok, Alan Kholos and Bill Porter.
